The Skills Development Act, 1998: Summary.
Before I address a few specific benefits that SMMEs could get from the skills development implementation process, just a note on the skills development facilitator required by the legislation. I believe that management teams who appoint a senior member of the organisation, preferably one of their peers, as their skills development facilitator, will get the maximum benefit out of the process.
